What is a Food Drive?
A Food Drive simply put is an initiative geared towards collecting food such as key Indian staples, MEGs (Milk, Eggs and greens) and fruits or monetary donations to support sustained feeding programmes that are run by the Delhi Food Bank in and around Delhi. If you belong to a corporate, a school or another organisation and want to create a Food Drive campaign to raise food and funds for the Delhi Foodbank, please access our toolkit [link to Fooddrive toolkit] where you will find all the information you need.
What are the conditions for accepting food?
We accept all non perishable dry food / non food products.
We only accept perishable produce based on donors location nearest to a feeding program. In the case that there is not a feeding program near the perishable donation we would be unable to accept this due to food safety standards.
